“All Politics is Local”…

They say all politics is local. And because that is true, we are looking forward to 2023 when PA has their next municipal election.

Many, MANY, municipal elected positions go vacant or are left to appointment. We find the process of those in charge deciding appointments, not only anti democratic, but antithetical to the spirit and intent of founding principles.

So, if you agree with us, and think it is tragic to leave important positions vacant or up for appointment, circumventing the will of the people, consider standing up and running for one of those positions within your community.

Examples include election officials who maintain the integrity and ensure peaceful elections. Those roles are a minimum commitment of only two days a year. Auditors also are minimum commitment yet help maintain transparency in local government spending. Next steps up are city/twp/borough council seats. These usually require a few days a month.

With that as a primer, and you agree that it is time to step up in your community, get in contact with us. You have plenty of time to plan a campaign, fundraising, organize signature collection and ballot access.

While the PA Pirate Party is new to the commonwealth. The members who are founders have years of experience running 3rd party campaigns and achieving ballot access. We can help.
